[Abstract]

This is a technology innovation stimulus project aimed at developing innovative tools (APOHIS KIT) for user-centered diagnostics and data collection in Social Housing (HIS/PMCMV-1) in Uberaba, based on Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE). These tools will be applied and tested in a pilot study in the city, offering insights for the revision of the Local Social Housing Plan (PLHIS). The proposal is innovative as it intends to develop a product called “APOHIS KIT” with digital technological foundations aimed at sustainable development.Through the application of APOHIS, the project also seeks to foster social engagement among residents by identifying their needs and encouraging active participation in municipal processes, along with the technical training of the local team to ensure ongoing evaluation and participation in future PLHIS revisions. The project is structured as follows: (i) A brief diagnosis of the quality of social housing production; (ii) Development of innovative POE tools for social housing; (iii) Application of POE methodology in a pilot project in the city to train the local team and promote its dissemination. The project will employ an innovative methodology that integrates POE, Practice Theory, and Coproduction, bringing together researchers and undergraduate and graduate students in an ethically-driven civic education and legacy-building initiative for the city. Activities will include community engagement dynamics with residents in the pilot area, training courses, and workshops for municipal technicians and COHAGRA staff. The project will result in a diagnostic report on the quality of social housing in Uberaba and an APOHIS application manual. It is expected that by training local teams and empowering citizens, a local culture of continuous monitoring of HIS quality through POE will be established. This proposal is innovative as it introduces improvements and innovations in the productive and social environment of COHAGRA, resulting in new products and processes through the APOHIS tools. These tools will add new functionalities to existing processes, leading to quality and performance improvements.
